Recent reports suggest that items such as those pictured above are being traded as collectibles by politics-minded people across America. This may tie into the theft of Vernon Twinburger street signs that riddled several cities in fall of 2008. We at VT:ASY! will keep you posted as we watch online auctions for these civic treasures.

Stolen Vernons?

Several people in the areas of Chapel Hill, NC and Washington DC have reported stolen or damaged Vernon Twinburger signs in their cities. Mr. Twinburger has not been reached for comment on this rising problem, but when he is we will report it to you posthaste.

Hate crime? Political strategy by enemies of the truth? The cause of these despicable acts is unknown.

New Signs Across America/Some Stolen?

There are some reports of new street signs for Vernon Twinburger are popping up in various communities. Once again, it appears the group "Citizens for a Future Tomorrow" is behind this. And in another development, further reports indicate that several signs have been removed (stolen?) from various locations. We will keep you updated with all future developments in this matter.
